With the Covid vaccines, it didn't matter if you had medical advice to NOT take the vaccine, you were still a Bad Person for not getting it. After my brother-in-law developed myocarditis and had a physician honest enough to say it was the vaccine, our family physician said that our children should not get it. It is only okay to not receive a vaccine if you are some hypothetical person somewhere else, not a real person whose doctor recommends you not receive it for good and sufficient reasons such as someone you share DNA with had a bad reaction and we don't know if it's safe for you.
It was . . . educational, we'll go with educational. I think the only thing that protects people who cannot receive other vaccines is that medical information is normally private and no one goes about demanding you show proof of measles vaccine. (Well, here. Your state schools may differ.)
