I have to admit I'm somewhat relieved to hear that you've ruled out the "demonic hypothesis" as it always made me a bit uneasy-- or rather, I should say, the way some people became excited by it made me uneasy. Something with no bearing on its validity or lack thereof, but I'm still glad to hear it's been retired.
I haven't been following comments in as much detail as I used to, and it seems I've been missing some interesting conversations at times-- when did you write of this? Is there anything you've written about it substantive enough that it may be worthwhile for me to go back and search for it?
