Hi JMG, in your answer to a question last week (https://ecosophia.dreamwidth.org/302895.html?thread=52029743#cmt52029743) you said that "The fixation on a single image is a good way to see to it that the opposite of that image manifests in one's life." Do you have any thoughts as to the causes of this? Is a person fixating on an identity image unlike their own feeding their energy to the egregore of that image rather than cultivating its traits in themselves?
I can think of many examples of this I've seen, like people who buy into multilevel marketing pyramid schemes and get obsessed with "dream building" their vision of themselves as millionaires while their lives collapse around them. There are scores of others. Thanks.
