Toward Ecosophy

I confess to having enjoyed Kim Stanley Robinson's novel, "The Days of Rice and Salt," which is an alternate history novel involving a group of 5 or 6 souls who reincarnate together a number of times over a thousand years or so. I was unaware of the indigo children prediction, and I don't know if it influenced this novel or not.
