I tried to get Natto in the town I'm in (pop. 70,000 with a big university) but it appears 'Oriental Supermarket' actually means Chinese and Thai around here.
Ah well. Will have to have a good look next time I'm citywards. Great advice on the bonito - the sliminess was not attracting.
