2) The programs Dion Fortune wrote about, the ones that left such extensive traces in Celtic societies (due to a lot of survivors reaching northwest Europe during and after the period of acute sea level rise), were Atlantean.
3) The Picatrix isn't something to handle lightly. It includes quite a bit of powerful and dangerous stuff, and some of the practices are boobytrapped -- Chris and I did our best to identify the traps and warn people, but it requires a great deal of care and thorough knowledge to use effectively. What you sensed from the diagrams may simply have been a "do not touch this!" warning from your intuition.
