1) Not usually -- one of our jobs in incarnation is discovering things about the material plane for ourselves. As for the Lords of Mind, they're not abstract ideas, they're beings who once incarnated as we incarnate now, and long since completed the journey of spiritual evolution we're on. The Lords of Form came before them, and the Lords of Flame were even further back, before the solar system condensed out of a disk of dust and gases. (They were the ones who did that.)
3) The last, or the last but one, depending on whether there's a lot of karma to work off.
