The Magic Resistance is once again showing what every electrician knows, which is that resistance is a great way to turn energy into wasted heat. Those books have been in print for years; the boxed set is the only thing new about it.

The very short form is that Evola was a brilliant occult philosopher, but he knew much less about magical training and practice than he thought he did. As for his fascism, of course that's an issue -- we're talking about a guy who criticized Mussolini for not being fascist enough -- but the Magic Resistance is hardly in any place to throw stones about that, given its own violent hostility toward free speech and civil rights for anyone it disagrees with.
