The "magical resistance" crowd has their collective knickers in a knot now over the fact that Inner Traditions has just released a new box set of "The Complete Introduction to Magic" by Julius Evola. Of course, they're screaming "fascist". Some of them are calling for outright censorship, saying that Evola shouldn't even be published any longer, while others are saying that Inner traditions should at least have a strong disclaimer about Evola's fascist views. I'm also seeing some say that Evola wasn't that great of a magician anyway and is a waste of time.
The link is here (and I'm not affiliated with Inner Traditions at all, so I'm not trying to promote them): https://www.innertraditions.com/books/the-complete-introduction-to-magic
I know your feelings on censorship and the "magical resistance" crowd, but I'm wondering your thoughts on Evola and his understanding and accomplishments on magic. Is he worth studying, or is time better spent elsewhere?
