Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 104

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:
1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.
2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.
4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.
With that said, the floor is open for discussion.
Re: All the buttons
Date: 2023-08-05 04:05 am (UTC)I have a dark view of organ transplanting anyway since my brother was an organ donor. I definitely felt pressured to take him off life support so they could sell his organs to someone else. I don’t know, maybe there really was zero chance of him ever waking up… but the whole thing could have been handled differently.
Re: All the buttons

I feel like the completely legit and above-board trade in legally donated organs in the US is probably being used to launder organs from less virtuous sources. If you're not familiar with the subject of Chinese organ harvesting from prisoners, you should be.
There's a lot-- a LOT-- of money changing hands there. You may donate organs for free, but recipients pay $$$ for them, and there's a lot of money and perverse incentives in the mix. Corruption.
PTBs are using the organ lists as a way to discriminate against the unvaxd.
In order to harvest the organs, the "donor" is kept hooked up to life-support machinery, sometimes for extended periods, in order to keep the body nominally alive until the surgeons are available to retrieve the organs. If I'm dead, or even mostly dead, I do not, under any circumstances, want to remain hooked up to life-support machinery. Totally apart from the question of organ donation, I don't think we really know what goes on with that, on the non-material planes, and I emphatically do not want to find out. That is nightmare stuff, and whent it's my time I'd like to go, without delay, without artificial lingering, to whatever's waiting me on the other side. No hanging around. Before I even knew about the other unsavory aspects of the process, I objected solely on this account. It's a big deal to me.
All those other things have just reinforced that decision, over the years. I want nothing to do with it.

Re: All the buttons
Date: 2023-08-06 10:02 am (UTC)I completely agree with you about organ transplants. Don't want one, don't want to donate, for all the same reasons that you gave. That is one slippery slope humans never should have slid down. Mary Shelley had it right...
There is a book by Paul Pearsall called "The Heart's Code" where he talks about heart transplant patients waking up with "new" hearts that include memories, tastes for foods -- i.e., your cells, even your heart cells, carry memories, and taking someone else's organs feels like stealing part of their soul, at least to me. I definitely have concerns about the etheric part of the whole thing.
Just wanted to let you know that there are plenty of folks who agree with you on this issue. And while we are on the topic, how horrific is the term "organ harvesting"?
