Toward Ecosophy

The SoP isn't a problem with existing magical items because it specifies, as exactly as you wish, what you're banishing. As long as you don't say, "And with the help of the powers of (element) I banish from within me and around me and all my doings all helpful and positive powers that are making my life better" -- and I hope you wouldn't be silly enough to do this! -- you'll be fine.
