I was going to ask about Jung and Gnosticism, but turned up this site in a search: http://gnosis.org/gnostic-jung/
I had no idea about this connection, how interesting! In the spirit of Jung's paintings, I wonder if one couldn't have artistic practice as part of someone's particular practice of gnosis, or maybe a group practice for those interested.
Also, earlier I was going to write a response to this on my phone, and the 'smart' spelling suggestion feature on the phone suggested I replace Gnosis with agnostic. Aside from the irony of a technological device wanting me to do this, the synchronicity did shed some light for me on the meaning of the term 'agnostic' in light of what you've written here.
