John, I’m continuing my progress through your excellent commentary on the Cosmic Doctrine and have reached chapter 22. The CD makes it clear that each swarm cannot progress up to the next plane until it is free. But I’m a little unclear how this applies to human death/reincarnation. When we die we leave our material bodies, but do we not cross over to the lower Astral plane as we do so? How does that work in Fortunes metaphor as we yo yo between the two planes over many lifetimes. Also, is it not likely that more than one swarm end up occupying each plane? It seems to me unlikely that we have to endlessly wait until every single member of our swarm is ready to move to the next plane. Kind regards Averagejoe
