I spent a lot of time with my grandparents, and got to see first hand what the early stages of descent into dementia looks like. I currently work as a cashier, and have noticed that a disturbingly large number of people are displaying some of the features, and it is growing disturbingly quickly.
I've come to suspect that, whatever the origin, a lot of people are suffering from early dementia. I hope I'm wrong, because if I'm right there will be a lot of suffering in the next few years from another source than all the other places where I don't see how things don't end badly...
