To get control of a phobia, you have to do two things. The first is to unpack the childhood traumas that are usually at the root of the fear; the second is to learn to manage the fear. If you can find a competent therapist, that's probably your best bet, but those are expensive, and not always easy to find. Lacking that, journaling is a good way to get down to the memories at the heart of the fear, and regular meditation will give you the capacity to control your mind and keep the fear from running out of control.
