equinoxIt's just past midnight, so we can proceed with a new Magic Monday. Ask me anything about occultism and I'll do my best to answer it. With certain exceptions, any question received by midnight Monday Eastern time will get an answer. Please note:  Any question received after then will not get an answer, and in fact will just be deleted. (I've been getting an increasing number of people trying to post after these are closed, so will have to draw a harder line than before.) If you're in a hurry, or suspect you may be the 143,916th person to ask a question, please check out the very rough version 1.0 of The Magic Monday FAQ hereAlso: I will not be putting through or answering any more questions about practicing magic around children. I've answered those in simple declarative sentences in the FAQ. If you read the FAQ and don't think your question has been answered, read it again. If that doesn't help, consider remedial reading classes; yes, it really is as simple and straightforward as the FAQ says.

The picture?  I'm taking a momentary break from chasing down photos of my lineage. Today is the spring equinox here in the northern hemisphere, one of the holy
days of the Druid calendar, and this is a photo of the spring equinox sunrise as seen from an ancient stone chamber at South Royalton, Vermont -- one of many astronomically oriented megalithic sites here in New England. The photo's courtesy of New England Antiquities Research Association (NEARA), which was gracious enough to send it around yesterday morning.

Buy Me A Coffee

Ko-Fi

I've had several people ask about tipping me for answers here, and though I certainly don't require that I won't turn it down. You can use either of the links above to access my online tip jar; Buymeacoffee is good for small tips, Ko-Fi is better for larger ones. (I used to use PayPal but they developed an allergy to free speech, so I've developed an allergy to them.) If you're interested in political and economic astrology, or simply prefer to use a subscription service to support your favorite authors, you can find my Patreon page here and my SubscribeStar page here.

Bookshop logoI've also had quite a few people over the years ask me where they should buy my books, and here's the answer. Bookshop.org is an alternative online bookstore that supports local bookstores and authors, which a certain gargantuan corporation doesn't, and I have a shop there, which you can check out here. Please consider patronizing it if you'd like to purchase any of my books online.

And don't forget to look up your Pangalactic New Age Soul Signature at CosmicOom.com.

With that said, have at it!

Wow! Thank you, changeling. Your comment speaks to so many things I’ve wondered about. This is part of a larger pattern for her that makes me wonder if she was heavily involved in praying the Rosary in a previous incarnation. The examples you gave are very interesting.

When we first read the children’s biography of Mary, she became intensely focused, and asked for it to be read several more times in a row. Then she asked me if we had skipped anything. We hadn’t, but she kept flipping through the book looking for parts we may have missed. She did this several more times before dropping the idea uneasily, as if she was still puzzled by something missing.

Shortly after (prompted by my daughter asking for more prayers to Mary) I looked into the Rosary for the first time, and realized that the children’s book biography (Mary, the Mother of Jesus by Tomie dePaola—it’s a beautiful book) follows the structure/themes of the rosary exactly—but leaves many parts of it out!

So she was right. Definitely a “whoa” moment.

I’ve asked about my daughter on MM before as she has said or done other startling things that suggest she was involved in some sort of deep spiritual work in her previous incarnations. I’ve gotten some great advice on here.

She asks to read the bible out loud daily and will sit through an hour or more of it read in one sitting. (We homeschool, hence have the time.) My own journey in Christianity has mostly been through Eastern Orthodoxy. I was a catechumen at one point, but left before baptism because ultimately I couldn’t reconcile it with what I know is true about reincarnation with everything else. That said, I still pray to the Christian God, Mary, Christ, the saints, and so on, despite also doing planetary charity. I’m considering taking up the Catholic rosary along with my daughter as she seems so devoted. I definitely feel at a spiritual crossroads.

Thank you again!
