Dear JMG, recently I've seen a little statue of Kwanyin/Guanyin...and there She is depicted with a dragon beneath her that she feeds a golden stream of something from a ..beaker..(missing the right word here for something one might use to pour milk from) Would you happen to know if the dragon sybolises earth powers or the Chinese emperors vor both? Thank you!
