I'll try this and report back -- my mother-in-law, with whom my family currently lives, watches far too much evangelical preaching.
I do have a thought for the "smart" phone-addled; if the user keeps their phone in one of those rubber carrying cases, it might be possible to slip a straight razor in-between the phone and the case, and leave them none the wiser. (I profess ignorance as to the magical effects of the rubber itself, or if a straight razor would work in place of a knife.)
