I believe you mentioned somewhere that among the oaths you took relative to one of John Gilbert's legacy systems, you promised not to reveal the system's secret signs (I think signs of recognition, or maybe visual images - it's not important which).
I'm curious to know what you did to still pass along the system - skip signs altogether, come up with new ones, look for historical alternatives? Is this a common occurrence in occult teachings, a way for the person redeveloping a system to flex well-learned muscles perhaps, and pass muster?
