Well! This is day 2 empowering/activating my Healing Hands and by gosh, it's a Thing! I seem to get a "buzz" in my face/forehead immediately after empowering. I don't seem to pick up on a directional flow, just a "something" that goes from "meh" straight to "oh!". Not that I doubted that this is real, but experience always gets my attention like nothing else does.
After empowering my hands last night for the first time, I noticed that they seemed to engage quicker than usual when I sent Reiki remotely to my mother.
And, like Princess Cutekitten's Sonkitten, above, I have persistent tennis elbow. It was getting a bit better on its own, but this afternoon I activated my Healing Hands and sent the intention that it be healed. Energy seemed to go to the area quickly, and then several minutes later I felt a sort of cocoon of energy around the affected area. This was followed many minutes later with slight shooting pains in my lower and upper arm. It didn't last long, and put me in mind of "bad" energy being released and drained away.
Might this be what was happening?
Thanks again, JMG, for making this available. And thanks too, fellow students, for the questions you post. I read them all, and the answers are helpful to me as well.
