Yeah, I think we're on the same kind of page. As you say, there's a spectrum of wrongness, so before a legal style amnesty could be given the misdeeds would need to be identified, categorized, analyzed and considered against a vast and complicated array of requirements for justice, penalties, punishments, administrative penalties, the protection of society, etc.
If we're just talking about your cousin failing to invite you to their party due to your vax status, well that's one thing, but locking a whole category of people out of economic activity/society is obviously in another league.
I take your point about homicide vs genocide - either way I'm sure we'd both need some pretty serious convincing before we'd agree that granting an amnesty is appropriate for those sorts of things.
If the idea behind all of this amnesty jibber-jabber is just to get the 'vaccine skeptics' to shut up, well, that's a big 'no' - there are clearly some conversations that need to be had.
