My 78yo dad told me last night he's having his 5th shot, in two days. He has a comorbidity and wants to protect against serious disease as a new corona wave hits England. His dad died when he was 80. I don't know what I'd do in the same position. I told him I wouldn't be getting one ever, and - from someone who said all he wanted for last Christmas was for me to get the fox - said if he was 53 then he wouldn't be getting it either. I asked if I could pray for him, and that I thought everyone's reaction to the fox was different. He agreed, and asked who I was praying to as he would also say a prayer. Outside of him not getting the fox, this is probably the best I could hope for.
