It all feels very eerie and fraught and opaque. If you stop and observe, you can FEEL the tension AND panic beginning to increase as people come to realize (and try to come to grips with) what has been done to our world - socially, economically, politically and medically. The sense of disorientation and disbelief out there is palpable - along with the fear of what is going to happen next.
I've seen a lot in my 65 years on this rock but I agree that it feels different this time. Maybe it's simply because I can see so many possible outcomes but without a clear sense of exactly what is going to happen next. It's all new territory because the scale and scope of this outrage is so vast. I have also put off some decisions and plans because I can't get a good reading of the lay of the land at this point. I am just watching and waiting.
