My theory is that the effect I'm discussing is distinct from the religious dimension of a temple or church. Some form of physical energy -- possibly terrestrial electricity, possibly low-frequency infrared, possibly something else -- resonates in a properly designed temple and radiates outward from it to improve crop yields in the area around the temple, extending out as much as several miles depending on subtle details of topography. It's no spookier than turning on a light bulb -- it's just not understood by current agronomists.
