I'm delighted to announce that the first volume of The Dolmen Arch, my reconstruction of an early 20th century American Druid correspondence course, is back in print in paperback format. Here's the blurb:

Very exciting! I'm just getting started on the Druidry path but I've been buying up all the books you've recommended in the MM FAQs. I look forward to volume 2's release. I know it'll take me a while to work my way up to even the first volume in the DA, but I am trying to make sure that I have all the books that I'll need, well in advance. The continuing shortages and supply issues concern me. I did find a used copy (for a hefty, though possibly acceptable, price) of volume 2 just a bit go. I'm tempted to buy it now, given my concerns about where things are headed and the uncertainty about the near-term.

I'm hoping that nothing interferes with the publication of the second volume, but these days, yeah, I get that.

What system of divination does the DA use?

It doesn't. Divination wasn't a normal part of most occult training until after Regardie published The Golden Dawn in the late 1930s, and everyone in the occult scene found out just how much use the GD had made of it. Before then a lot of occultists looked down their noses at "fortune telling" and many more simply didn't see the importance.

There's nothing in the DA training that conflicts with using any kind of divination you like, but it's not a part of the program.

Are grades 2 and 4 really named the same?

The blurb as quoted gives “Gradd y Damcaniwr (Grade of the Theoretician) […] and Gradd y Damcaniwr (Grade of the Philosophizer)” - same Welsh, different English. Should one of those Welsh titles be different, or are they intentionally duplicated, while the English titles intentionally are not?

Thanks for catching that! No, the fourth grade is the Gradd yr Athroniwr.

Yay and congratulations! The Dolmen Arch has been such a positive experience for me. I am happy more people will have access now. Now I can buy copies I can throw in a pack for reading outside my office!
