This reminds me so much of the constantly repeating announcements in airports.
I just traveled by plane twice this week after 2 years of staying close to home. Constant announcements about how, by federal law, you have to wear a mask, cover your mouth and nose, and all the horrible fines if you don't. Blah blah blah blah-- and it sounds almost exactly like the announcements we used to get about terrorism, "don't leave your bags unattended, don't accept packages from strangers," blah blah blah.
But now they don't play the "don't leave your bags unattended" loop, just the "wear your mask" loop.
It seems like a dream those days when everyone obsessed about Islamic Fascism. But that's all wildly out of fashion now, people would rather talk about cat farts than Afghanistan & etc.
