I know you've mentioned an earlier Quaker connection, Erika. What you just wrote echoed how I've felt in my own Quaker meeting sometimes. It's the deep, forever quiet types who are really the source of spiritual power in a meeting. But if you're not paying attention, they just seem... quiet and rather irrelevant.
