Toward Ecosophy

I have a pile of candle nubs that I have been saving from my Celtic Golden Dawn ritual magic practice with the idea that some day I will melt them together and make an offering candle, but I do not know much about the subject. I also picked up a Legba candle in New Orleans and my local spirits on the other side of the world seem to be responding to it rather favorably. Unfortunately the Legba candle started tunneling, so I cut off the top and was wondering if it would be okay to mix in with the altar candles? My guess is no and to keep them separate since the energy that went into them is different, but the repurposer in me had to ask.
