I’ve spent some time over the last week staring at a mundane astrology chart that presaged a major event in UK political history. I drew up the chart and nearly jumped out of my skin; its been several years and this sort of thing still makes me jump. There’s a grand cross that includes Saturn near the MC in the 10th house.
The three other planets are not malefic and as the events played out, all three showed the impact of severe affliction but the mundane elements Saturn represents did not.
This raises the question in my mind about what it means for a malefic to be square or in opposition to another planet. Ultimately house placement would have to be taken into account but as a rule of thumb if a malefic is in opposition or square to a benefic should I be considering whether it’s the malefic that’s doing the afflicting?
Today I appear to be the Écru Senescent Snail. How appropriate. Thanks for MM.
Afflicting or afflicted?
