My local paper just did an article remembering the lives lost to covid... And the best stories that they came up with... A 99 year old man, who lived a very impressive life before being lost to covid under restrictions where they couldn't visit him in his final hours. And a second hand story about someone from richmond who lost a friend that lived in Washington state. And that is it.
And this is why we had to panic? That's the best they could find? Even as a skeptic I wonder if there was less than I thought that actually happened. Maybe this is more an indication of how far local reporting has fallen but wow.
