And yes I know officially is not possible to have man in the middle over https, because certificates and SSL etc. But I never completely believed that, especially, looking back EFF pushed https a lot and it is now revealed that EFF got a lot of money from USAID.

One thing with http is that because you knew that there could be a man in the middle you payed care with what you share online.
So even if https officially doesn't allow the man in the middle, I think that might not apply if you are "The Man" or "The Company".
