Jeff Childers reported that the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) sent a template to every government agency and told them they had to send out a devastatingly humiliating email by 5 PM today that included a confession that the agency had engaged in "shameful discrimination."
Well, the US Department of Homeland Security sent out an email to every employee today that was word for word the template that Jeff Childers reported.
Here is what I am having a hard time with: I am beside myself with glee. Not because I care about DEI, I don't. Because I endured humiliation after humiliation, slap in the face after slap in the face over the COVID vaccine mandates. Every time the Trump Administration issues another Executive Order, it is a massive slap in the face to the people who were Covid vaccine nazis. I keep thinking please, please hit them again. And again. And again. And again. And again.
I am having a hard time hiding my glee... I do feel for people who are suffering. People who are suffering like all of my co-workers who got fired for not taking the vax and all the people like me who managed to stay employed but were call dirty anti-vaxxers.
I know that being gleeful about other people suffering is not great, but bullies who just kept on bullying ... I don't know.
