Marcus brings the heatWe are now in the fourth year of these open posts. When I first posted a tentative hypothesis on the course of the Covid phenomenon, I had no idea that discussion on the subject would still be necessary more than three years later, much less that it would turn into so lively, complex, and troubling a conversation. Still, here we are. Crude death rates and other measures of collapsing public health are anomalously high in many countries, but nobody in authority wants to talk about the inadequately tested experimental Covid injections that are the most likely cause; public health authorities government shills for the pharmaceutical industry are still trying to push through laws that will allow them to force vaccinations on anyone they want; public trust in science is collapsing; and the story continues to unfold.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry and its government enablers are causing injury and death on a massive scale. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its wholly owned politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you plan on making off topic comments, please go away. This is an open post for discussion of the Covid epidemic, the vaccines, drugs, policies, and other measures that supposedly treat it, and other topics directly relevant to those things. It is not a place for general discussion of unrelated topics. Nor is it a place to ask for medical advice; giving such advice, unless you're a licensed health care provider, legally counts as practicing medicine without a license and is a crime in the US. Don't even go there.

5. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

6. Please don't just post bare links without explanation. A sentence or two telling readers what's on the other side of the link is a reasonable courtesy, and if you don't include it, your attempted post will be deleted.

Please also note that nothing posted here should be construed as medical advice, which neither I nor the commentariat (excepting those who are licensed medical providers) are qualified to give. Please take your medical questions to the licensed professional provider of your choice.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Unfortunately dr McM made a mistake. The jump in numbers took place going from 2023 to 2024 and is caused by including extra regions.

The tallies for 2023 and 2024 can be found here:
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/65957411d7737c000df333d5/UKHSA_NASS_Bulletin_2023_52.pdf
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/6775864202c3076590308ce6/UKHSA-national-ambulance-bulletin-2024-week-52.pdf

The mistake is unfortunate, as dr McM's main point still stands: the number of cardiac arrests is still rising and that is very concerning.

To elaborate, one can look at the developments in the largest region included, West Midlands. The published graph (in part b) is small, but still readable. In 2023 the range of the 7-day moving average was 100-140 while in 2024 it was 100-160. This corroborates that the average over 2024 was higher than 2023.

We've already had 4 years of excess death so the weakest members of the tribe have died already. And still the cardiac arrests are rising. It's maddening this isn't raising the alarm.

PS At the close of last week I posted a reaction to the 2024 embalmer survey. It seems to confirm my earlier estimate that 15-20% of the population in mRNA vaccinated countries is walking around with bloodclots. https://ecosophia.dreamwidth.org/310542.html?thread=53326862#cmt53326862

Interesting, thanks Boccaccio.

It looks like virtually the whole of the additional gain between 2023-2024 is from the East Midlands. But this 'disclaimer' remains: 'Please note there is minimal usage of this syndromic indicator by the East Midlands Ambulance Service.' Which is it UKHSA???
I also live in the East Midlands and we do not have 40% of England's population to account for this large overall number rise in comparison with everywhere else. And why are, say, the North West's daily numbers so low? For sure there's some big inconsistencies between regions here as the population of the NW and the East Mids is pretty comparable.
Not a 'nearly smoking gun' then. Boo. :-/

Re: bloodclots
Amazing what damage the body can take and still basically work.

Boccaccio, Dr Phil has updated his post and this is because of your observation.

Well done you and I'm also impressed he's admitted his mistake. Some faith in humanity restored this evening - boy do we need that at the moment.

"Addition of data from East Midlands in 2024 (absent in 2019) has impacted the interpretation of these statistics and it appears to account for much of the large increase in calls. Further investigation may still be warranted, but it is important to highlight the addition of the East Midlands data."

Thanks for the acknowledgement. Did you inform dr McM? I only commented here. Maybe I should inform the authors via a DM when I find a mistake. For example, a few weeks ago I mentioned on this forum a case where Ed Dowd seemed to make a mistake in the interpretation of the data. Maybe I could be a bit more assertive and directly contact the authors.

By the way, as I said above, I still see a small increase in 2024 in comparison with 2023 where by now we should see a decline. So the good doctor's concern is still warranted. I'm glad to hear that he has integrity.

I did inform him and credited you and this post.
I'm really happy he acted on it - yes, showing he has integrity.
