I am currently going through an amicable (though unexpected) divorce. What are the appropriate options for handling my silver wedding band? I don't need it anymore, nor do I need to do anything to distance myself from my ex-wife since we're still on as good of terms as is possible in the situation. It was a source of joy for me for many years, so if it's charged with anything, it will be positive feelings.
Can it be used for something else down the line that requires a silver ring? Should I just get rid of it, and if so, what's the best way to move on with positive feelings?
