Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 164

We are now in the fourth year of these open posts. When I first posted a tentative hypothesis on the course of the Covid phenomenon, I had no idea that discussion on the subject would still be necessary more than three years later, much less that it would turn into so lively, complex, and troubling a conversation. Still, here we are. Crude death rates and other measures of collapsing public health are anomalously high in many countries, but nobody in authority wants to talk about the inadequately tested experimental Covid injections that are the most likely cause; public health authorities government shills for the pharmaceutical industry are still trying to push through laws that will allow them to force vaccinations on anyone they want; public trust in science is collapsing; and the story continues to unfold.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before: 

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry and its government enablers are causing injury and death on a massive scale. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its wholly owned politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here. 
 
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue. 

4. If you plan on making off topic comments, please go away. This is an open post for discussion of the Covid epidemic, the vaccines, drugs, policies, and other measures that supposedly treat it, and other topics directly relevant to those things. It is not a place for general discussion of unrelated topics. Nor is it a place to ask for medical advice; giving such advice, unless you're a licensed health care provider, legally counts as practicing medicine without a license and is a crime in the US. Don't even go there.

5. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules. 

Please also note that nothing posted here should be construed as medical advice, which neither I nor the commentariat (excepting those who are licensed medical providers) are qualified to give. Please take your medical questions to the licensed professional provider of your choice.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Everything I had seems to be over from previously. So it goes......

I recently had an arts council grant denied/rejected/ (not that I've ever gotten a cent from this arts council).
And they are P.O.L.I.T.I.C.A.L.L.Y. correct.
In my grant was information that must have made their heads explode i.e.rationale for the work.
WHAAAAT??????????
However the 'support material' (examples of my work) was strong. HOWEVER
I imagine they felt they were handling radioactive material.
But here's what I wanted to share: The description that occurred to me was : Enemy territory...........
Not neutral. But enemy....territory.

confession: A bit of melodrama here. Not 'everything.'
Not the most important.
But
everything that seemed to click along automatically,

Maybe my first sense of this happening (outside of normal Holden Caufield alienation)
was actually pre-covid when I followed, intensely,
the Syrian war and Russia's intervention.
I went to a dinner party and realized NOBODY was, or had, or would be, thinking about it
as portrayed outside mainstream media.
Much as 'they' AFAIK got their covid information from mainstream media.

You are describing my world. They have no clue, none, what is going on. Mainly, it starts with the fact that they have no clue that there is very heavy-handed censorship of information that, in a sensible world, should interest them very much. Just that, just with that, not comprehending the nature and scale of the censorship, they're lost at sea. They literally do not believe that there has been any censorship-- or else, that it's good to censor "misinformation." Some insist on both at the same time. LOL.

They're going to hit an iceberg, or run aground, or run into a nest of pirates, as it were, and they won't fathom what has befallen them until it is too late.

Many already have. Many appear to me to be jab injured (tic, tremors, chronic GI complaints, new allergies, etc). All have lost family members to strokes, heart attacks, turbo cancers.

I've had since 2020 to do my research and to get my mind around things. And some days, it's still a scramble. How they, so blithely clueless, will manage I cannot imagine. Well, actually I can. Based on what happened when the Soviet Union fell, I think many will fall into immobilizing despair.

I get it, I really get it, that the world isn't what I had it was-- and it isn't what I had thought it was, either. I have my health and my creativity. More importantly, I have my sense of humor.

Still working on finding new, more sensible friends.

The other night I stopped in for a drink at a place that's become a favorite watering hole. It's quite a dive, full of mostly blue collar regulars sharing long histories and inside jokes. (I started going there to find someplace to socialize unmasked and minus all the usual covidiocy, after being explicitly banned from a former church over my ritually unclean decision not to take the experimental injection.) I've gradually become accepted as a regular at this dive bar, too.

Mostly, they steer clear of politics, but I was shocked this week to hear several full-throated TDS rants. Like from NPR parrots. (That's the safe stance in this deep blue area.) I noticed a bit under half of the group was uncomfortably quiet. Haven't talked about covid or the quaxx, and most people there got a few shots from what I can gather. But I need to get to know some of those quiet ones better.

So that's the story of my dramatically changed social life. Find new people, at least somewhat less enchanted by the mainstream media, and speak cautiously. The earlier post mentioned feeling like being in "enemy territory." Yup. But I also have met a very small set of people who are also in the resistance. Those are my new friends.

I find it amusing that a bar has become a healthier place to hang out, than a church. This truly illustrates this era we are in.
