Someone correct me if I am wrong, but it was almost certainly an oblique reference to a recent blog post by John Beckett over at Patheos Pagan.

"The Coming Storm", "Tower Time" and "The War in the Otherworld" are Beckett's favorite pet cliches. The whole thing strikes me as thinly disguised fundamentalist Christian end times theology.
