Toward Ecosophy

Pure iron is all but impossible to get, and the steel used in magical implements is usually some version of mild steel, containing modest amounts of carbon, manganese, sulfur, and phosphorus. You can use sheet steel from a hardware store; that's what I used, and got good results.
