That's a good question which would have to be settled through careful observation and experiment. My guess -- and it's only a guess -- is that Essene healing accesses forces from the spiritual plane but expresses them through the planes on which human beings live and act, since we're involved in the healing process! Thus its relationship to the linear time of the material plane is a complex matter, and following traditional guidelines and personal experience is probably a better idea than trying to make it conform to potentially arbitrary theories.
