Yes such things are short-lived. :-) I saw a cartoon once of a bunch of old guys 'celebrating' in triumph, one of their members raised and being carried. The caption said 'State Champions 1955.' One of the celebrators said, 'Of course a lot of the excitement has gone out of it by now.'
