Many vaccines do a lot of good; smallpox, polio, tetanus, rubella, mumps for boys who haven't caught it by puberty.

Others are sort of marginal, chickenpox being one example.

The clot shot was a different beast entirely, at least for anyone tolerably healthy and under 70.

You can't lump them all together something both extreme sides are prone to doing.
