I was under the impression that water could also be used as a carrier instead of alcohol, have you seen any mention of that in what you've read?
Would it be possible to use a different carrier for the 6x dilution step only, possibly for 10ml as a time if it wouldn't last as long?
I have never touched alcohol in this life, possibly due to touching far too much in a past one, and I feel some concern about giving an alcohol based tincture to a child, and would like to avoid it myself if possible.
