Toward Ecosophy

I feel for you. My first child simply would not latch on without a nipple shield- basically a bottle nipple shaped to go over the breast. He was a poor nurser for the first month or so, and that in turn lowered my milk supply. It all turned out okay in the end, but as it was my first, I felt very insecure.

Do not try to diet. Lots of moms want to 'get the baby weight off'. Nah. Lactating takes a ton of calories. Eat, eat!
