I haven't gotten deeply into that end of magical tradition; as I recall, there are some good discussions of Greek statue magic in some of the literature on ancient Greek magic, and the Asclepius, one of the treatises attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, has a useful section on making magically empowered images. I don't have a bibliography to hand, though.
