Funnily enough, a simple test derived to test for "authoritarian personalities" is called the F-scale. It was derived to see who would be susceptible to fascist propaganda at the end of WW2.
It had been winnowed to just 4 questions (they know everyone values all these traits, but when forced with a stark choice, the results were predictive).
"They're parenting questions, designed to get a sense of a person's relationship with authority."
Independence or Respect for Elders
Curiosity or Good Manners
Self-Reliance or Obedience
Being Considerate or Being Well-Behaved
Too bad they didn't run the test again in 2020, eh? I bet that might have been predictive, but for some reason, I suspect the people commissioning the political studies stopped being curious.
