The laying on of hands method practiced by nurses is called Therapeutic Touch; I've known people who've had excellent results with it. In my experience, for what it's worth, radionics is also dependent on the talent of the individual practitioner; the radionics machine helps channel and structure the healing activity, but it doesn't do the work by itself.
