This sort of thing gets going among Christian fundamentalists at intervals. It usually means that they're trying harder than usual to ignore the beams in their own eyes by fixating on the motes in their brothers' eyes. I wouldn't worry about it; soon enough they'll lose interest and go off on some other tangent.
