Thema Mundi Return 2024

A couple of days ago I posted a discussion of last year's Thema Mundi return -- the experimental chart I cast and delineated for the moment of the Sun's return to its position at the traditional birth chart of the world, used as the basis for a set of predictions about US politics via the methods of classic mundane astrology. I noted then that I'd be posting a new chart and delineation for the 2024 Thema Mundi return.

Well, here it is. I'm sorry to say that it's rather more troubling than last year's chart. In particular, there is a classic indication of a risk of war -- the Moon and Mars are in an applying square, and both are angular -- as well as other negative indications. Like the last one, this is an experimental chart; to the best of my knowledge, nobody's done Thema Mundi returns before; but last year's came out fairly accurate. War is not inevitable -- astrology predicts trends, not certainties -- but the danger is there.

(I've already cast next year's chart, by the way, and it has some astonishing things in it, predicting radical changes.  More on this next August.)

JMG, thank you for posting the predictions publicly.
As bad as Saturn's condition, the worst seems the Mars square with the Moon. We saw what Mars square did to Trump just recently. Could this be civil war promoted by foreign adversary, since moon in 7th? Is there any upcoming transits with Mars squaring the moon? Also since RX Mercury is in the foreign affairs' house conjunct Venus, wouldn't that mean lots of trickery covered up by of sweet talk towards foreign interests? ( what's new ?? )
Also notable that Mars/ male supports opposition, Venus/ female sits with the elites; could also indicate a male leading the opposition and a female elite's leader ( shaping up currently?) More intense gender wars maybe too?
Also it's picture perfect how the Jupiter is aiming the (big) arrow at Sagittarius in 10th.
Since the sun is in the 6th does it imply anything for the head's of state health or how the government will impact public health?

It could also mean war overseas driven by issues in domestic politics. One of the challenges of mundane astrology is that the trends aren't always easy to narrow down! As for the rest of it, yes, those are also possible interpretations.
