Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 199

remember thisWe are now in the fourth year of these open posts. When I first posted a tentative hypothesis on the course of the Covid phenomenon, I had no idea that discussion on the subject would still be necessary more than three years later, much less that it would turn into so lively, complex, and troubling a conversation. Still, here we are. Crude death rates and other measures of collapsing public health are anomalously high in many countries, but nobody in authority wants to talk about the inadequately tested experimental Covid injections that are the most likely cause; public health authorities government shills for the pharmaceutical industry are still trying to push through laws that will allow them to force vaccinations on anyone they want; public trust in science is collapsing; and the story continues to unfold.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry and its government enablers are causing injury and death on a massive scale. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its wholly owned politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you plan on making off topic comments, please go away. This is an open post for discussion of the Covid epidemic, the vaccines, drugs, policies, and other measures that supposedly treat it, and other topics directly relevant to those things. It is not a place for general discussion of unrelated topics. Nor is it a place to ask for medical advice; giving such advice, unless you're a licensed health care provider, legally counts as practicing medicine without a license and is a crime in the US. Don't even go there.

5. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

6. Please don't just post bare links without explanation. A sentence or two telling readers what's on the other side of the link is a reasonable courtesy, and if you don't include it, your attempted post will be deleted.

Please also note that nothing posted here should be construed as medical advice, which neither I nor the commentariat (excepting those who are licensed medical providers) are qualified to give. Please take your medical questions to the licensed professional provider of your choice.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

lol maybe the Sydney Morning Herald writer was one of those who took the vaxx for a Krispy Kreme glazed donut (Or do they even have Krispy Kreme donuts in Oz?)

I well remember the post-lockdown haircuts. For me, a glorious experience.

stubborn, I like how you out it, "extremely determined." Yes, it does seem so. The problem is, I know people who read these sorts of newspapers and believe this "bafflement" stuff. I mean, it's bizarre to me that they're baffled, but actually they are baffled.

But I think this is like taking steroids in that they can suppress something... but there are side effects... and there can be boomerang consequences.

I quit attempting to inform people who had no interest in being informed a while ago. Now I focus on protecting myself from the fall out of their "bafflement." I mean, I expect they will continue to say and do some very strange and possibly very hurtful things. As many of them already have.

The Australian government recently released a report comparing outcomes between covid cases for the vaccinated vs the unvaccinated, and (surprise, surprise) finds the vaccinated had better outcomes:

https://news.rebekahbarnett.com.au/p/useless-covid-data-analysis-riddled

The substack article does a good job exposing the statistical manipulation that went into the report.

But, there is a point being missed here.

There were some major doomsday predictions that were used to justify the lockdowns and mass vaccinations: that covid had a 3% fatality rate, that people had a very high chance of becoming seriously ill, that they had a good chance of ending up on a ventilator, that the hospitals would be swamped with thousands of patients.

There is actually no need to do a deep dive into the stats and compare the vaxxed to the unvaxxed. The only question that needs to be asked is if these apocalyptic doomsday predictions came true for the unvaxxed. And of course there is zero evidence that this happened. This is the point that really needs to be hammered.

With reports like this, the government is now arguing that the lockdowns and forced vaccines were legitimate (based on percentage differences between the vaxxed and unvaxxed), when these extremist measures were initially justified by a doomsday narrative about a virus that would make a large part of the population seriously ill.

It could be proven that the vaxxed had better outcomes (statistically) than the unvaxxed, but this would still not justify the covid tyranny.

(Anonymous) 2025-06-02 05:07 pm (UTC)(link)
They are crafting the statistics to support their desired outcome. Of course they would ignore the obvious factors, as they would not provide the statistical outcome they desire.

They do, but people here did not initially need to be bribed.

Plenty were happy to stand in block-wrapping queues in the city streets in winter.

Some never perceived that there was a choice of whether to take it. It was always a matter of when.

My employer did in fact bribe its workers with an extra 2 hrs' pay per shot.

Later the threats of ostracism and laying off worked on others.

I had my doubts in MAHA, the doubts were clear when Trump approved the 500 billion aid for the Stargate, having the narcissist boss from Oracle making the cancer "healing" mRNA tumorshot makes me extremely uncomfortable.

That's why I though RFKjr is either a Pied Piper or someone good that will have to give up at some point or even be replaced if it swims against the stream. And he will not be the only dissappointment of the administration. The honeymoon is over, a lot of things are not showing up but it seems the mRNA Cancer shot "Stargate" is proceeding very fast:

At the risk of getting off topic, American national politics has long been a game of distracting the masses with divisive issues while the ruling class keeps going with the real projects (which don't differ a whit between the parties).

I'm beginning to wonder if the strategists decided that abortion and guns weren't cutting it anymore, and have exploited the Trump movement for the usual purposes.

So I conclude: We do see some progress since 2021, but medical fascism is still kicking, and most alive and well in Connecticut and Maine. "Scrutinize" I take to mean the nameless bureaucrat in question can decide if your religious beliefs are sincere or not. Medical exemptions, well, good luck with that. There's almost no doctor left who's willing to give one, they risk losing their license.

abortion and guns

Abortion and guns are also mainly about money, those fetuses make it into everything from stem cells, organ experimentation etc

It's a massive industry, check it out!

I will and can never see that dress as anything other than blue and gold(ish). Where is the white? I can see how people might think the gold is black as it looks like it probably is black but has been overexposed. But the blue bits as white? That is utterly bizzare, there is literally a frame of reference right next to the dress in the blown out white bit of the image.

I was just listening to the latest Thomas Sheridan podcast.... and he mentioned that in the past week, there's been 2 deaths of young women, both running half marathons in Ireland and Scotland. I dug up the news articles and there's no mention of unusually hot weather or anything... I think we can be 99% sure of the cause, but as Thomas was pointing out - the normies are really baffled and can't even see this pattern now being repeated pretty much everywhere. Just a small data point.

A recent substack post by Joshua Stylman goes a long way, IMO, towards explaining what happened during the Panic:

https://stylman.substack.com/p/everyone-was-just-doing-their-job

"Everyone was Just Doing Their Job"

"How Specialization Enables Systemic Evil"

To summarize, Stylman discusses how highly specialized experts end up becoming cogs in the system. And he talks about the great need for people who can see the big picture, and the rarity of such people.

I worked within these systems for my career, and observed first hand those who laser focus for 10 years of their life on some extremely narrow specialized area of scholarship, and then are bestowed with that magic PHD -- and yes, they often then become expert in all things, at least in their own minds.

This sort of thing has already been discussed at length here, but I thought Stylman does a nice job of bringing things together in one post... Cyclone

I want to address those of you who have anxieties about [profile] us_fda’s limited approval of a new mRNA COVID vaccine for high-risk populations. Moderna has agreed to a true placebo-controlled trial of the new vaccine, which is similar to the existing mRNA vaccine but uses a smaller protein.

The FDA will monitor and collect data throughout the trial for every adverse outcome—not just a table list of expected outcomes. FDA will scrutinize every aspect of the trial. We will deliver on our promise to use gold standard science and common sense.

How do you approve anything BEFORE a clinical trail is completed?

The placebo aint the issue...

The issue is you approving mRNA at all!

You're supposed to be BANNING them!

This is INSANE!! - this is an attempt to rehabilitate this toxic contaminated mRNA Vaccine technology.

I knew they'd try this. But instead of "cleaning up" the DNA plasmid contamination, we're getting "smaller parts of the spike" instead? Really?

This is the so called "fix"? Oh hell NO.

Something like this has been attempted before when Pfizer and Moderna lowered the dose of mRNA for the pediatric mRNA Vaccines for children under 12 years old. 3mcg or 10mcg of mRNA instead of 30mcg for Pfizer, and 25mcg of mRNA instead of 50mcg for Moderna.

Now these younger kids are getting LEUKEMIA.

The older kids who got the higher adult dose are getting LYMPHOMAs, SARCOMAs and BRAIN TUMORs.

This is criminal. The entire mRNA Vaccine platform MUST be banned immediately.

All 500+ mRNA Vaccines in development must be banned immediately.

I cannot support MAHA going in this direction.

I'm done with this mRNA Vaccine fraud.

Going in this direction is absolutely criminal with all that that implies!

So you still haven’t taken care of the injured and grieving families left in the wake of the last Covid vaccine rollout, but now we’re supposed to trust you with another experiment? A “smaller protein” sounds a lot like self-amplifying mRNA tech with even more unknowns and risks. Why are you going along with any of this, brother? Where’s the accountability for the damage already done?'

The most baffling thing is that so few people are connecting the dots. Alarm signals are going off left and right but it is only seen as yet another baffling development. Perhaps the truth is just too hard to take in.

The result is predictable. Society just keeps functioning less and less, people will have to spend ever more time money and energy on basic survival issues and politics are ever less able to solve anything. It will end with all the frustration coming out through bloodshed. Only the shape of the violence has yet to be determined.
