Astrology Project: New Open Post

cometRegular readers here know that I post astrological predictions concerning politics and economics on SubscribeStar and Patreon, and every so often post something that can be read by anyone. The more experimental a post, the more likely it is to be open for the public, and the one I've just put up -- well, it's about as experimental as they come.

It used to be quite common to interpret comets as significant omens in mundane astrology. Unfortunately very little material seems to have survived on how this was done. I've gathered together what I could find, in Ramesey's 1653 classic Astrologia Restaurata and a few other sources, and given it a shot using the recent Comet Tsushinchan-Atlas as a test case.

Maybe it's just me, but I tend to think that the most important of the various purposes of astrology is accurate prediction, and the only way to see what works is to give it a try. You can find my tentative conclusions here on SubscribeStar and here on Patreon. Over the next two years, we should see just how accurate these conclusions turn out to be, and then put the results to work the next time a comet comes through.

Spoiler alert: comets, according to astrological tradition, are always bad news. This one isn't as bad as some, mostly because it was relatively small and wasn't visible for that long, but it has some unwelcome tidings.

"a comet in the 11th house predicts a great slaughter and destruction of the aristocracy"

I'm going to be honest, I laughed pretty hard when I read that.

So, one more malefic influence that ends late in 2026. Hmm.

If these predictions are accurate it sounds like we are in for it. I guess the reason you aren't supposed to store things under the bed is so you can hide there in times like these. I always thought it had to do with air circulation.

Peak Oil Fracking in US

(Anonymous) 2024-11-02 07:25 am (UTC)(link)
It is uncertain whether these specific assessments will turn out to be correct under modern conditions, but it is unlikely that things will go well for America’s elite classes, agricultural sector, or public health under this influence.

If we learned anything from Peak Oil movement is that due to the energy slaves embedded in the oil, elite classes, agricultural sector and public health, are heavily dependent on oil and gas.

I don’t know you, but I’ve been following the fracking oil boom separately, and it all hinges on the Permian Basin—which appears to be beyond its peak. And people are talking about 75% declines in some places.

The fog of informational war is very thick in the fracking business. But two thing are clear, as the wells and basins come more gassy a lot of gas is flared and used for generators to feed the grid.

As the fracking and gas goes away very swiftly you have the grid, gas and diesel crisis over the hand.

Comet or not. Omens or not!

When you hear enemy leaders making prediction like this, they surely may know something in store. In that place you do want to be seen as just bluffing:

The world order based on Western rules will soon collapse — Medvedev

I think the comets and omens is just the universe being kind to the common folks as someone put it here on a previous thread.

Public Health and the dark mirror of aristocracy.

(Anonymous) 2024-11-02 02:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Dear Archdruid of Mundane Predictions,

Welp. This experiment reads like a "foot on the neck" moment for the "aristocracy". Closer to home perhaps is the chilling fact that your forecast of Nov. 17, 2020, was spot on in regard to public health and the fact that the current reading in question probably predicts something polar opposite in the works...

But I have come to ask of something extra of you. How will these predictions of politics, economics, and society factor into the current form of the mainstream media? By their own admissions they have accelerated their own irrelevance by attempting to deplatform half(?) the population of the US and UK. Furthermore, are they not simply a tool of influence but isn't their modern incarnation part and parcel to the aristocracy as a whole? Horrid evils indeed.

Halley's Comet

(Anonymous) 2024-11-03 04:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Here's a thought:
As everyone knows, Halley's Comet flies by, on average, every seventy six years. I wonder how much the study of that comet's appearance and the accompanying occurrences on earth (as an example: 1066 and the Norman invasion of England) would help you in your studies here. If nothing else, being able to follow the appearances 1835, 1910 and 1986 may help you in your transition into the present day.

How about the catastrophic inundations in North Carolina and Spain during the comet's visibility?

(Anonymous) 2024-11-03 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Things happen as we speak in Spain for example:

https://t.me/the_Right_People/41736

The King and the President of Spain were greeted with stones by the citizens of the affected areas.

I hear that people in South Carolina were also left to fend for themselves. And many they are very angry about that.

While the above event in Spain might just be an incident... I think the time of it requires serious meditation.

I dont know if there is any correlaties, but since october 9, the day comet Tsushinchan-Atlas peaked its brightest magnitude, there have been 130 earthquakes in Death Valley.

The new aristocrats are the billionaires and multi-millionaires and political dynasties. Those who pass on considerable wealth and influence to their children. Trump and Musk fit the description of aristocracy. Trump himself owns several large properties. He certainly looks like a feudal lord to me.

Paedrig's heresies

(Anonymous) 2024-11-05 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Your astrological predictions regarding the comet vibe very well with dreams I've been having lately. Strange, foreboding things. Trump, dressed in Roman Imperial regalia with a grand roman-dressed entourage of political notables behind him, marches to the white house despite screaming hordes assembled to stop him. Then, in the midst of his march, as he stops to preen and give a speech, he is struck down by an errant arrow to the heart. There, on the streets of DC, Vance, dressed as a Legionaire, holds Trump in his arms as he dies. A priest comes forward, dips a finger into Trump's blood, and paints a cross upon Vance's forehead. A terrible red light shines forth from this dark baptism in the blood of his predecessor, and as Vance strides forth toward the White house, the terrible red light drives away all his opponemts in terror and reverence.

Prophetic? Hopefully not. A product of too much time reading the news and not enough dealing with my anxiety? Maybe.

I would like to change gears and relate a story to you, where I had the chance to pass on some knowledge I had gained from you and your site.

I had a coworker talk about their partner, and posit that their partner had some kind of malevolent entity attached to them. They made it seem like a joke but... I had a feeling it wasnt. I asked some probing questions - "what makes you think that? Oh, so their partner seems nice most of the time, but sometimes this completely different personality breaks through. Hm..."

I gave a simple suggestion - cold running water. Thats enough to clean off at least some of the spiritual grime. I wasnt going to break out the full southerm conjure spirit bath recipe and tell them how to make a protective amulet - keep it simple. They actually thanked me for not laughing at them and giving them something they could maybe use and we went about our day.

What makes this experience especially poignant is where we work. We build power systems for the great data centers that are the latest pyramid project of the aristocracy - these grand, power guzzling servers that are supposed to sort through massive amounts of user data by feeding it all to baby AIs, in the hope they'll grow up into something that can see all through the data stream, manipulate the users like some twisted artificial god that will do the bidding of the tech priesthood.

Oh the tales I could tell, about the monumental hubris of the managers, who have no clue about how to do the actual work and screw everything up with absurd attempts to reinvent the wheel or needlessly insert some "innovation" they can sign their name to. The massive logistical clusterfuck that is trying to get even basic materials... the weird way foreman hide the plans like they're secret sacred scrolls... I will only tell you what you already knew - its an utterly doomed endeavor, a monument to hubris that will probably fail as soon as its turned on. I'm quite proud to help the tech aristocracy craft their delusional dream, knowing it will lead to their downfall.

So here we were, discussing occultism literally in the bowels of the great materialist machine. And an image came to me - two medieval stonemasons, at the contruction site of a cathedral, have a conversation away from earshot, where gnostic mysteries and old pagan ways of casting out spirits are passed from mouth to ear. Oh, how it would horrify the priests and the guildmasters to hear two apprentices discussing such heresies in the shadow of this sacred temple to the great orthodoxy!

I hope this tale put a smile to your lips, oh archdruid.

Cine nu are bătrani, să-și cumpere.

(Anonymous) 2024-11-05 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
There is this Romania saying: "Cine nu are bătrani, să-și cumpere." (literally translated as If you don't have old people buy.) - which is basically the equivalent of the sayings: If you wish good advice, consult an old man. / If the old dog barks, he gives counsel.

It dawned on me that since since the elite will be in mortal peril, it means that their technologies and stupid systems will not be around to serve them. If the systems will be the first to go or the other way around it kind of doesn't matter.

This means that people that will have sane, apt and lucid old people will have a survival advantage, which is poetic justice given that the current youth seem to hate old people with prejudice.

Maybe the boomers were a bit to blame of that, but I think the boomers will not fair any better on the new world either and there are a lot of people that took care of the older generations that are just coming into old age now. Cue JMG type, I am not saying that JMG is an old man but you got the point. Is not about being old but about the wisdom.

Is it just me? But it seems that this astrological post got more than a few comment.

(Anonymous) 2024-11-05 01:22 pm (UTC)(link)
hello JMG! Thank you for this prediction, most interesting.

A late comment on this post, if you don't mind. I just have two semi relevant questions.

1. How is it that you got that old style "S" (the one that looks a but like an "f" written out) on your keyboard?

2. Do you know the formal name for this now-retired sibilant?

I remember there were discussions about Scholz mundane chart when he was invested.

And it just passes that indeed they are in deep trouble!

Given the stability a long tenure of German Chancelors he had a rather short stay if he goes away!

Big scandal in the Church of England with the Makin Report claiming that Christian camp leader John Smyth had abused many children and young men and that the Church of England hierarchy have covered up Smyth's crimes. The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby has resigned over the scandal.
