You know why the pandemonium happened? It was because, out of the billiobs of people working in civil service, law enfircement, health care, etc, not a single one could be found who would take responsibility for his own actions. Responsibility always belonged to someone else. People blithely commit all manner of horrible crimes and feel no remorse because it was somebody else's decision.

I exaggerate, though. There were responsible people. Many exist on the fringes, others were persecuted for their integrity.

I maintain that all of this madness (which both continues and will come again with renewed force) stops where a single individual acts with integrity and personal responsibility.
